MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
The new building mainly occupies the ground floor, with technical areas in the lower floor. The building spreads through four blocks, one central, which includes all the social spaces, with connection to all other three blocks, where the 33 rooms are located. Between the volumes are created two wide courtyards, which are able to provide natural light and ventilation to the interior building’s space.
A thorough design cost optimization, allowed to guarantee the quality and the building regulations standards, while at the same time reducing significant costs, which are around 10% of the initial cost.
